It was founded in 2008-2009 Academic Year as a department of Economics and Administrative Programmes under the name of Tourism Animation. Since the Academic Year of 2010-2011 it has been renamed with the decision of YOK as Travelling Tourism and Entertainment Services Department Tourism Animation Programme.

Students who completed the programme successfully are given Associate’s Degree of Tourism Animation.

There is one year compulsory English Prep-Class. Prep-class is not included in two-year education period.

Students who have passed all of the courses in the curriculum that are 120ECTS and have achieved a cumulative gross point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and have completed the compulsory practical placement period of 40 days will graduate from the programme.
