It was founded in 2008-2009 Academic Year as a department of Economics and Administrative Programmes under the name of Tourism Animation. Since the Academic Year of 2010-2011 it has been renamed with the decision of YOK as Travelling Tourism and Entertainment Services Department Tourism Animation Programme.
Students who completed the programme successfully are given Associate’s Degree of Tourism Animation.
Specific Admission Requierements
Graduates of Secondary Schools who obtain the required grade of YGS-4 from the National University Entrance and Placement Exam (ÖSS) are accepted to the programme which has 30 students contingent.There is one year compulsory English Prep-Class. Prep-class is not included in two-year education period. Students who pass English Proficiency Exam will start first class. Students who can’t succeed in Prep-Class also start first class,but these ones have to be successful in English Proficiency Exam during their education period in order to graduate from the programme.

It aims to train modern animators who can analyze all the issues about art and entertainment from different views, have fundemental knowledge on these topics, be able to convey our country’s cultural diversity and wealth to foreign guests , digest ethical values, be aware of world’s realities and believe in the importance of life-long learning.
